The COVID-19 vaccines are critical to protecting our communities and returning to normal. The city of New Orleans is looking for volunteers to help with distributing the vaccine in both medical and non-medical aspects. Find more info below!

Medical & Behavioral Health Volunteers for COVID19 Response

The City of New Orleans is building a network of volunteers to support public health and medical efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteers may be used for a variety of clinical and non-clinical tasks under the direction of the New Orleans Health Department and the State of Louisiana Department of Health. Second Harvest Food Bank

Second Harvest Food Bank leads the fight against hunger in South Louisiana by providing food access to those in need.

Culture Aid Nola

Culture Aid Nola (CAN) is a collaborative relief effort of several New Orleans area nonprofits serving culture and hospitality workers, and directing aid towards the underserved members of these communities impacted by COVID19. They need volunteers to help with city wide food relief effort to help pick up, prep, package, and deliver food.

Volunteer for Meal Delivery

Hands On New Orleans needs volunteer drivers to pick up and deliver multiple days’ worth of meals to the doorsteps of approved recipients throughout New Orleans. They are also looking for volunteer callers to conduct follow-up check-ins to make sure meal recipients receive their food as scheduled, maintain good health and maintain good spirits.
