Somos Uno by Our Voice Nuestra Voz, is a unique program designed to foster solidarity, healing, and unity among Black and brown communities in New Orleans. The name “Somos Uno,” which means “We Are One” in Spanish, reflects the core intention of the class: to explore shared struggles, build collective understanding, and dismantle the divisions that have been historically imposed on communities of color with collective interest.

The class is facilitated in both English & Spanish, ensuring accessibility and centering language justice. In addition, Each fellow receives a $500 stipend for their time, effort, and commitment to themselves and the movement.
